Does CPC Mississauga ask for updated LICO - parents sponsorship

Hi all.....

This question is related to LICO requirement for parental sponsorship (phase 1)....

Does CPC Mississauga ask for updated LICO proof once it starts to assess the sponsorship application for parents (after 33 months of nothing) ?
As 3 years is a long time for application to be sitting and collecting dust, do they ask for proof of financial capability (LICO) later/again or they make the decision on initially submitted documents ??

Will appreciate any replies.....anyone has any experience about this....just wondering what to expect?

Secondly, is it recommended to update them yearly on how the sponsor is maintaining the LICO?

Yes, they normally ask for the financial information at the approval stage.

Do they also confirm if the application was received (not that it is being processed, but just received?). We submitted an application for our parents in Aug 2009 and have not heard anything from them yet (no form of acknowledgment). We have no idea if they even received it. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a copy of the form before we sent it and we sent it by regular mail...so there is no way to track it....very frustrating!
