Does CIC location, Single/Family and Passport country affect the processing time of application?

Hi Guys,

I am just wondering whether the CIC location (Applicant applied), Single/Family (whether it is single or family application) and Passport country of the applicant affect the processing time of application? If so, Can anyone let me know whether Edmonton is a fast processing place or not? I cannot understand that from the spreadsheet.

I believe where your application will be processed is out of your hands but determined by where you live. You have to send your application in to Sydney and they will forward it to the office where you live.

I do not know. Check the spreadsheets. You have no choice anyhow. Are you under time constraints?
