Does CEC require POF?

Does CEC category require proof of Funds? Had anyone who applied for Express Entry been ask to provide POF for CEC Category??

If you've been invited under CEC, you're exempted from POF. Simply being eligible for CEC but getting invited under FSW (a distinct possibility and a fairly common occurrence) doesn't get you the same exemption.

Hi Asivad,

A couple of questions:

1) I am in India now and expecting a ITA by November end under CEC. I will be applying via CEC. Do I have to show proof of funds? Right now I put S8000 in the express entry profile. Can I reduce that to $2000 if this is not a mandatory field? The reason I am asking is already I had reduced my funds once.

2)If I get a PR is it mandatory to land in Canada with my wife or Can she land later after the approval?
