Does apprenticeship count towards experience class ?

Hi,

Im trying to make a long term plan and figure out what I would need to do. I believe I am going to be able to get a job offer as an apprentice commercial electrician which comes under I believe TEER 2 or possibly 3. I'm hoping someone can tell me does the experience towards experience class PR start counting as soon as I start working as an apprentice or does it not count until I have a qualification ?
