Does anyone know how long I can stay in Vancouver if I drop off my course ?

Hi you all, I really need help here.

I'm thinking to drop off my 1 year diploma and change my study to MBA in Vancouver.
Regarding that I have 1 year student visa from my school which is allow me to stay in Canada but
I just wanna make sure that if I cancel my study now it will effect my visa status or not?
if it does then I want to know how much time I have to find new course after cancel it.

If you are out of school for more than 90 days your study permit will no longer be valid. So you would need to start your new course in less than 90 days after you stop attending school.
