Good morning!! How are you? In USA, there is a K-visa called fiance visa but how about in Canada? Does Canada have fiance visa too?? Thanks a lot for anyone's answer!!
NO, Canada does not have a fiancee visa. You need to be married. Or you can apply as common-law partners or conjugal partners if you qualify. See here for details: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3900E.pdf
my family and i were now granted immigrant visa so i have to leave my live-in partner. does anyone knows how long would it take to get my partner to canada once i get there?
besykobuset you will need to supply more information in order to get an answer to your question. Where are you now, how long you've lived with your partner, what kind of visa did your family get, etc?
