Does Alberta consider Tech NOCs in its general Express Entry stream?

I understand that people who have a job or a job offer in Alberta can submit an application for Accelerated Tech Pathway program. But for those tech people with same NOC codes, who do not have a job offer in Alberta, are they considered at all in the general AAIP Express Entry stream? Or do the tech people have only one stream which is the Accelerated Tech Pathway stream?

It is possible if AINP selects the NOC (not published) and your CRS score.

Well since Alberta doesn't post Selected NOCs, we can only assume what's happening. Earlier this year when the tech program just started, few Tech NOC's keep getting invited in normal rounds but lately they have been inviting a few people in EE draw, so hard to guess.

I've been nominated twice by Alberta under the Tech Pathway Stream (stupidly let the first one lapse). Both times it was under job code 2281 - and within a couple of days of submitting the application.

If you read his question properly, he's asking if the NOC's same in Tech Pathway are also invited in normal EE AINP round of invitations or just in Tech pathway

It's great that you've received your ITA! Were you already working in Alberta?

As ilikesnow said, I was mainly interested in knowing what would happen if you didn't have a job or a valid job offer from Alberta. Would you have been considered in the general Express Entry stream (AINP) because of your NOC or not? But as we concluded above, we can't ascertain that unless we actually see a case where such an applicant was invited.
