Hi all,
I'm asking for a friend who is visiting me this summer. She is Belgian with a Belgian passport but it is old and isn't one of the new biometric passports. Can she still visit Canada without a visa? (I know in the US they changed it about 10 years ago so that if you're from a visa-exempt country but don't have a biometric passport, you need to apply for a visa.) She already applied for ETA (and got it I believe).
Since her passport still has two years left on it, she'd rather not apply for a new one, but of course she will if she has to.
Thanks!
