You are required to proove that you'll come back to your home country after graduation, which is contradicted by your EE application.

You don't have to say you will go back after graduation. IRCC doesn't care about your plan after graduation. They only want to make sure you won't stay in Canada illegally.
Although technically true the fact that you have applied for PR and now are trying to secure a temporary permit will likely raise concerns about whether you are only trying to study to try and secure PR and have no intention of returning home

Wanting to stay in Canada legally is completely fine to IRCC. Their concerns are hiding somewhere and doing filthy things.
I had an EE profile and a PhD, and I applied for a college diploma. I didn't say I would go back after graduation, and I didn't have any issues.
