I will take a 1 year (3 semester) master's program in Montreal next fall but I'm a little confused as to whether or not a one year M.A program done in Quebec will qualify for the QC province's own Programme de l’expérience québécoise? Simply called (PEQ). I know for a fact that in order to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class one needs to obtain a program lasting at least 2 years. I've done a lot research on this and most of the explanations online were vague or confusing. I'm not sure if there was any amendment done lately since its introduction in 2009 but most of the websites are saying that a program must involve 1,800 years or more of study. On the official website of Quebec Immigration there isn't anything like that explained in detail.

This is what I found on the Official Site of the Government of Quebec Immigration.

Québec diplomas eligible for the PEQ are:

a Diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP – Diploma of Vocational Studies) involving 1,800 hours or more of study;
a DEP followed by an ASP totaling a minimum of 1,800 hours;
a Diplôme d’études collégiales techniques (DEC – Diploma of College Studies, technical training);
a Bachelor’s degree, university undergraduate;
a Master’s degree, MBA;
a doctorate.

Can anyone shed light on this?

Thanks
