Documents while submitting

Hi. I am new here. I am from Nigeria . I applied for a study permit on April 12 but while submitting I did not submit a police clearence certificate and my transcrits reason being that it was not asked of me while I was downloading the forms but I submitted all other documents asked on my checklist i am still waiting for a reply, it's 2 months plus already could that be the reason.
