I just got today the invitation for the test, and I am supposed to bring:

1. The notification
2. Two pieces of of personal ID
3. Original landing record
4. All the original documents that support the application (e.g. birth certificate)

This last item is very vague, what else am I supposed to produce? I sent a lot of papers together with the RQ, such as copy of the leases, taxes, marriage certificate, school records, letters of reference etc, Am I supposed to present all those documents again?

Any suggestions?

Thanks !!!

I brought everything that I included in the original application plus some additional stuff because I was worried about getting an RQ. But all they asked me for was just my COPR, PR card and passports. Because I traveled a lot outside Canada, I showed the interviewer some NoAs and a letter from my employer which seemed to help support my case as a resident of Canada for the last several years.

So I think what you should bring varies on your situation. COPR, PR card, passports seem to be mandatory and everything else optional. If you think you will need to explain any absences or they will be suspicious of your residency, it may help to bring more documentation. I brought a ton of stuff. While I didn't need it all, I think some of the extra stuff I brought helped and I was really glad I had it available right then and there. Note that everything you have already sent them, they will have in your file. So if you have already sent them some more stuff from a previous RQ request, they'll probably already have it for the interview (but doesn't hurt to have the original there too IMHO)

Thanks a lot for the explanation, I called them today and they explained that they do not need the docs from the RQ, only originals of PR card, passports, landing records...I have always had very good experiences when calling CIC, the operators are very polite and courteous
