Documents to provide later

There were a few documents like the police clearance, that I couldn't include in the applicaion, but provided a letter saying that I would provide them once available, once my spouse gets these documents, should they be mailed to the processing office? We don't have a client number from the processing office, we just have the client Id number from the frist stage approval.

Should I mail the documents with my first stage client id number on them?

Thanks

Hi,

I was in the same situation than you as I submitted my application without a police check. Actually, the processing visa office (Singapore) suggested to send them directly the police check when I would receive it, to not delay the processing at the Mississauga office. I wanted to wait to get my client ID to send it to make sure to have the right way of identification.

As you can identify yourself with the Client ID number on the CIC website (and this is the reference number they say you should have when communicating with CIC), I think it's fairly reasonable that the processing office will recognize it. Just explain the situation with a letter. You can also send an email to the processing office to seek their guidance. The Singapore one was quite helpful.

This is only what I think and I haven't gone through this situation as per say.
Hope this helps - good luck!
