Apart from the usual docs to bring to the interview, what should we take to decrease our chances of getting an RQ later?

im thinking Tax NOA's, employer letters, translation docs, medical benefit breakdowns, lease agreements, letters from landlords... Insurance documents, bank statements etc.... (for the 4 years preceding application date)....

Any thoughts on this?

The person who will interview you most likely is not a decision maker, so if they need additional documents it wont help having them with you at interview.
If they did not require additional documents so far, at interview you'll be okay with Passport and IDs. But if you present a passport with many stamps that they cannot cross-check with CBSA report, or you have the current or expired (but covering the 4yrs period) passport missing, or anything "unusual"; they will send you the RQ or CIT520 and it will no matter if you have the documents with you.
Just go there and take the test and dont carry a suitcase with you.
