The best answer I may think of is to bring any document that you think may help your case.
I would bring aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall doc that may prove my ties to Canada(lease, bills, bank statements) put everything in a briefcase and, if it's too heavy, have someone carry it with you. No harm if you bring too many documents but the problem is if they ask for any doc and you left it at home.
I still didn't apply but I already have the briefcase ready and whenever I think of a doc that may help , I put it inside.

What documents ( original and copies) to being on the the interview day formcitizenship

As Goldline mentioned, I Took every doc i thought would help me during my test/interview last week. They just checked my Passport for entry exit stamp and i was done. I saw one guy who came for the test literally having nothing in his hands. He just brought 2pc id, passport, Landing doc in his jacket pocket, He forgot to bring Passports copies but went outside and brought them in 10 min and his interview was cleared.

Esteem, what do you mean by passport copies, you mean the original passport or something else
you are supposed to have copies of every page of the passport that has anything on it. even older passports if it has canadian stamps.

Take ANYTHING that is linked to your application. I was away for 4 months in 2011 for family's medical emergency. And i was asked if i have any proof of that. The Officer took photocopy and returned me the medical reports.
Best of luck..
