Hello everybody,

I am living in Canada on open work permit. I am planning to apply visitor visa for my parents on behalf of them. I am confused about one thing, documents required to support financial condition. To describe in brief, my parents are farmer in India. So as a farmer what documents I can use to support finance?? I would like to describe here that they don't have their IT Returns because farmers don't have to pay tax in India. and that's why they never filed a return. They never did a job as well and there is no other income source. Also, how much balance approximately required??

please reply if anybody have an idea.

Thanks a lot.

They must submit their Form J for agricultural income + their bank statements (nothing borrowed from anyone and/or nothing transferred - if transferred, they must include an explanation) + financial investments (FDs, RDs, mutual funds, shares/stocks, PPF, etc).

Their bank balance must match their declared sources of agricultural income.

Unofficial guide:
CAD 1,000 per person per week of visit + airfare
