Hi Officers
My younger brother (PR Resident Canada-ONT) had applied for my mother's visa about 24 months ago (During that time my mother was in Canada with him on Tourist visa, and now is in India for the past about 5 months). In our family we are only 2 brothers and our Mother (father expired in 2007).
I am an Eldest one and is citizen of Australia but have also applied to Canada and my application is in progress as FSW Ontario Pilot program (received letter for documents request last month). So basically this entire exercise is for family re-union. So the following documents have been requested within 90 days from my mother on the letter which was sent to my younger brother in Canada:
1. Form: IMM0008
2. Schedule A: Background Declaration IMM5669
3. Additional Family Info IMM5406
4. Travel Document and Passport
5. Proof of Relationship to Sponsorship in Canada
6. Identity and Civil Status Documents
7. Proof of Dependent Children's Relationship to Principal Applicants
8. Photos Requirements
Please Note:
We strongly recommend arranging police clearance certificate to avoid delays, can either be send with this application or when requested
++++++++++++++++++
So kindly my questions are below:
1- In this letter CPC directs my mother`s name without last name because that time we didnt apply with last name. My mother got Last name added to her name later, and during the time application was made there was no last name attached to her name in passport either. But after that she got another passport with Last name attached and has visited Canada on this new passport with last name since then. Can you please advise how we convince CPC, and which documents required? Will only Passport be enough with current Canadian tourist visa on it?
2- How do we produce mothers marriage certificate now (didn't have even at first place) as my father is no more. We do have my father's death certificate though.
3- What will be civil status documents? Will service book be sufficient?
Please note: My mother is over 70 years and ais retired govt teacher currently on pension.
