documents requested from LA through email

I just received Email from Los Angeles immigration to provide additional documents . They asked to provide t4 for 2009-2010 and my legal status in canada.


Proof of legal status in Canada
Personal written statement stating current activity in Canada since May 26, 2011
Personal written statement and documentary evidence showing total income for 2009 - 2010 (Please also provide all T4's)

Problem here is i dont have T4's but i do have all Notice of assessments

Do i need to email them or mail the documents to LA office ?

Any help will be appreciated .

Emailing the documents should be OK, Back in May I email them new immigration and tax related documents; When you do your tax assement you suppost to keep a copy of your T4 for your records, I don't know if they will find acceptable that you are not sending your T4's.

I agree - You should send your NOA of course (didn't you include this with your original application?) but your NOA doesn't have any information about the source of income...

There isn't much of an excuse to not send your T4s... Even if your house burned down, you can call CRA -

If you are filing a tax return for a prior year, and you have not received, or have lost or misplaced your information slips for that year, you can call 1-800-959-8281 for a copy of your slips for that year.

Thanks for the reply guys,

When i applied for PR in 2010 , i enclosed all the required documents like NOA and T4 . I am not sure why they are asking me to provide them again . I received medicals in May 2011 and finished then in June 2011 . When i was expecting passport request , they asked me the documents .

I am really worried if my Application will be refused .

I don't think they are asking for the same documents, when you applied in 2010 you had your 2009 NOA and T4's, they are just asking now for the new ones from 2010; I guess, they want to know what have you been doing in Canada; I don't think you need to worry just send them what they are asking for, it doesn't sound that they are requiring something out of the ordinary.
