documents requested after medical checkup

Dear all,
I received an e-mail from ottawa pilot re-requesting the pcc from saudi arabia as I uses to live there,
Although, I sent it 3 months ago,but seems they r confused between the egyptian pcc and the saudi one

Anyone with similar experience please share it

Your PCC must be valid before issuance of the visa check if the Saudi PCC will still be valid 3 months from the day you did medicals.The PCC might have expired.

I'm no longer a resident in saudi arabia,
So I applied for this pcc using the egyptian ministry of foreign affairs, not the saudi consulate ,
So it was issued as a stamp of no criminal record on the papers of egyptian pcc and that's why they are confused I guess
I cleared everything in an e-mail but I hope they understand

I am sorry, but there are not confused because it is pretty straight - you cannot substitute PCC of Saudi Arabia with PCC from Egypt.

U meân they didn't receive it or what?
Anyway they told me in the e-mail if u can't provide the saudi pcc by the deadline they gave me to send them copies of our passports with the exit stamps from saudi, so I sent it also with the letter I sent to explain the situation,
So what do u think?

If you submitted PCC from Saudi before, and then left Saudi after not too long time past (less then 6 month) for Egypt, then there is no need for new PCC. Of course.

I sent them the e-mail and the hard copy of the documents they requested last wednesday, when do u think they will answer.
Someone told me if they didn't answer u in a week send them the e-mail again

I can only say about Beijing VO. I have very little idea about other offices (besides also Moscow and Kiev).

allow me to share my thoughts regarding the request for PCC from KSA.
KSA is particularly a difficult country to get PCC from.

Since you have sent the PCC long time ago, there are two possibilities here.
1. May be they did not receive the PCC that you have sent in early may. (unlikely though)
2. May be they are not satisfied with its format and they expect a different format (since you said you did not get it through the saudi consulate and it was stamped by the Egyptian Ministry of foreign affairs).

I checked the cic website for information about getting the PCC from Saudi arabia. they advice people who live outside saudi arabia to consult the saudi embassy. did you do that? it seems like the saudi authorities ask for request letters in order to process the application for PCC. cic is willing to help with that and they have some info on how to get the request letter. can you please share with us exactly how you got the saudi PCC? did you follow the standard procedure described in the cic website?

you do not need to worry about this, cic is aware of the fact that getting a PCC from KSA is time consuming and complicated compared to other countries.

I am sure all of this will come up to a happy ending.

I think you have done your part. Since this is the only way to obtain Saudi PCC, then you should be fine.
