For TRVs:
As the host: Copies of your passport + your PR card/citizenship + NOA + bank statements + invitation letter

For your parents: Please post the complete list of their documents if you want to be advised correctly

My parents has 4 houses, one open land, fixed deposits, life insurances etc on their name.So affidavit stating these things should be fine or else we should also keep copy of registration as a proof for land or houses. I am planning to apply for visa through online and each house documents are around 5-6 pages. So should i scan all the 25-30 pages and keep in my file. How should i solve this problem. does space is going to sufficient or not.

To reiterate: Affidavits will NOT work.

For example, I can prepare an affidavit to say I own the Taj.... this does not prove that I own the Taj. To convince the visa officer, I must include ownership documents/property tax receipts to prove I actually own the Taj.

Similarly, you must include proofs of property ownership + FDs + land, etc.... I have answered this question in your other thread.

For FDs: Include the FD interest certificate(s) + letter(s) from the bank(s) stating that the FDs are not locked-in/not mortgaged and can be liquidated anytime, if required

You'll have to check the optimum resolution versus file size of the scanned documents for uploading these documents.

My advice is to focus on presenting a strong case (even if it calls for 100 pages of scanned documents). Do not omit vital evidence just to meet the file size limit

Hi

I have a questions.

Instead of keeping copy of registration documents of house. Can we keep property tax paid for that houses. Does property states the ownership of houses. This way we can reduce the number of papers to scan.

is it ok to do that.

because my parents are little old and they cant go to vfs and moreover we dont have vfs in the city where my parents live. They need to travel to another city. That the reason i am looking for all possibilities for applying visa through online.

Property tax receipts do not provide any details about the property/the market value.... it only states the tax paid to the local corporation.

Also, the address listed on the property tax receipt may as per the old survey/plot numbers.... and may not match the current postal address.

Your parents have a very good chance. However, you are risking refusals by omitting/not including relevant evidence. You may want to consider appointing a representative to submit their paper applications at the CVAC

Do you have a certified copy of the extract after registering the property/paying stamp duty at the registrar/sub-registrar's office? It is a computerized record with the complete details of the property, ownership, etc..... it's only a couple of pages. For example, in Maharashtra, this is called the Index-II document

I don't have idea what it is called. Can you say me which office will issue this document. Is it from registration office.

Moreover i have a question. Last august my paretns visited usa and came back in jan 1st week 2016. stayed in usa for 4 months.

Do we have any chanes of refusal if we are applying to canada visitor visa in the same year i.e this month.

When you registered your house/property + paid the stamp duty, this sale agreement was registered at the registrar/sub-registrar's office. Normally, the extract (for example, 'Index-II' for Maharashtra properties) is issued immediately as part of the sale formalities.... and one does not have to apply for it later.

You'll have to check with the property registration authorities in the city/town where your properties are located. BTW the registrar/sub-registrar's office will each be a different one depending on which part of the city/town where each of your properties is located.

You can apply for your parents under the CAN+ program. You must scan the US B1/B2 visa and the US entry stamp..... this is mandatory for CAN+

Thanks for the info.

By the way CAN+ program refers to general visitor visa application only or else its a separate category under which we should apply.

You must use the regular TRV form. CAN+ only helps to expedite processing a TRV application.

You must state in the Covering Letter that you're applying under CAN+

Don't forget to scan the US visa + entry stamp for CAN+. This is mandatory

There was a recent case where someone requested processing under CAN+ (online application).... but the processing time took just as long as a regular TRV application
