My sister has a 10 year multiple entry business visitor visa to Canada. She visited us last october and left within 3 months (Jan 2017), did not break any rules and followed the same itinerary that she submitted. She has her own startup and last time she had an invite letter from one of the company's clients to attend some meetings. Now she wants to visit again in june/july of this year. However, this time she will not have an invite letter or any documents from the clients, basically she wants to visit for her own benefit to pursue some business opportunities. She has enough funds etc so all that is not a problem.
We are just worried about the purpose of visit and invite letter. Is it mandatory to carry an invite letter from a company in Canada every time you visit? If not, what could she show as the "proof" that she is indeed visiting for business? People who travel on business visa all the time, what documents are you asked to show at the port of entry?
