I am from Mexico and I am applying for a 2 week visitor visa to meet some friends and do some sightseeing.
I already have a letter of invitation from my hosts which has all the requirements.
However...
While applying for the TRV online, I selected the purpose of the visit as "Tourism". I am wondering if this is a viable reason to give? Any suggestions are welcome.
Also, the document checklist requires a document called "Purpose of Travel - Other". The explanation for this document on the website is the following:
"You must provide documents supporting the purpose of your travel to Canada. Examples include proof of educational study, wedding invitations, proof of a medical appointment, notification of death, funeral notice, etc."
I am wondering what document can I provide in my case that will fulfill the requirements?
