Documents checklist - Education Diplomas/Degrees (required)

Hi all,

I got ITA (CEC stream) and have following lines on my documents checklist for my wife and myself -- Education Diplomas/Degrees (required).
Per my understanding, it asks only a degree certificate and I don`t need to provide transcripts, right?
I am wondering what people upload for that box? I'd truly appreciate if you share your experience.

I barely remember that someone had "Education Transcripts" line on the documents checklist. So, if CIC needs transcripts they explicitly ask for it, right? ...or it`s just my imagination? Does anyone has request for "Education Transcripts"?

My wife and me got degrees abroad. I have assessed my education, but she didn't. So, I got a score for that and my wife got 0.
The question is why CIC ask her to provide a Diploma if she doesn`t have points for that?

No you don't need to upload your transcripts. But in my case I did, just to stay in the safe zone. Just a small assurance. Besides it's only couple of scanned papers more that can be attached to the original certificate. Don't bombard them with additional documents though.

In your wife's situation, I'm sure you have ticked her off as educated, at least to the diploma level. They just want to make sure what you are declaring is true. That's all.

Nothing to worry about really, just provide them with what they need.

If your education is in Canada, transcripts are required. Otherwise, the degree/diploma and/or transcripts are accepted as proof of your education.

Because EE is an automated system and you apparently listed her education in your profile.
