Can somebody tell me the way you submitted your file.

Can we staple the documents that we send to cic by courier? If not how do you send documents like passport copies.

I am planning to submit the documents by placing them in the plastic sheets and attaching the same in a binder file. Is that okay?

Last not but the least, can you tell me the best method to send the documents (fast and reliable)

Thanks.

1. Staples are not recommended. Wrap them with 2-3 rubberbands.
2. I strongly discourage binders/plastic sheets. You can put a 'paper clip' and use rubberbands to keep them together.
3. I have always used Canada Post and never had any issue. Make sure you a) request a signature b) Express mail c) You are able to track your package.

Good luck,

Can you please tell me if binders/plastics are not allowed... or reason for discouraging it. Because I thought it would look professional and was thinking of sending it that way.

What I do always is create a document checklist by each applicant, like myself, spouse, children and according to list by category like application form, passport pages, and so on other documents, i create a index list, and according to that list I order all my copies. no paper clip, no binder nothing .. but for each applicant all the paper work I use a big clip to be together.

On that checklist I also mentioned that all documents are in order of provided index.

simple and clear..
