Document criteria for nationals of Pakistan.

Hi everyone.

I recently joined this forum because of couple of questions regarding document criteria for Pakistani nationals. Stated in "Country specific instructions : Part 3" , "page 1" and in the second paragraph. " Nationals of Pakistan must send originals of all documents". Now the problem I have with this criteria is that there are many sensitive documents that if are sent away for sponsorship processing (and not sent back to me asap) could cause a lot of trouble. Is there any other way I could have this all done. Without losing possession of the originals?

No, you don't have a choice. There are just too many fraudulent documents in Pakistan, so CHC wants to see the originals.

You have to send original docs and they will return all of them original as per my information so dont worry every one from Pakistan sending original.

Thank you PMM and Amjad1002. My main concern was that CHC takes care of those documents and sends the originals back as soon as possible. If its already being done then I have no problem.

i am residing in UAE, recently got married with a canadian and filling my application forms for spouse visa.

Its necessary to send them original . But they lost my original documents and rejected my application saying they didnt receive documents , so it also happens still we have to have to send them originals . Must keep extra copies of ur originals and keep courier receipt as well .

Yea you have to send original as i am living in south korea and married with Canadian citizen but i have to follow the requirment

I didn't send original documents, however, I sent HEC attested photocopies of educational documents, photocopy of Nikkah naama foreign office attested, photocopy of nadra marriage certificate foreign office attested. police certi original.
but I don't know the result yet that either these documents acceptable or not. therefore, please listen to seniors guys on this forum. good luck

They might contact you again and ask for original documents as the first step when your applications gets in process, and you might wait some more months for them to get assessed.

Follow the very simple rule to avoid any delays/rejections:
Do what is written in Guideline that is it. Ask only if you do not understand the statement!

right now my application is in 1st stage, I thought they have nothing to do with original at this stage. however, I may get document request for originals once the application is in process at concerned consulate (UK) or I can send by myself without any document request in that stage.
I did this because I had a need of original doc for wes assessment.
Please let me know if this can cause delay in my application to process?
