First of all I apologize for the long post but HELP PLEASE!
So I am beginning to organize my application documents and am writing out a list of things we will need to gather for submission and I have a few questions I was hoping to get some answers on...
1. Under Part B SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR SPONSOR Question 3 of the Checklist regarding having children together how do I answer Yes or No if we are currently expecting.... I am due in July, planning on submitting application before then and the baby will be born in Canada. I obviously have no passport or proof of citizenship yet for a baby that's not born yet.
2. Under Part B SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR SPONSOR Question 5 of the Checklist - I am an Independant Contracter (Realtor) and am planning on including my Notice of Assessment... is that enough or should I get a letter from my brokerage as well? There would be no regular hours or salary included in letter since those aren't applicable.
3. Under Part B SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR SPONSORED PERSONS Question 3 of the Checklist - My Spouse has a dependent child that will NOT be accompanying him to Canada... do I just check no?
4. Under Part B SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR SPONSORED PERSONS Question 7 of the Checklist -
- I'm pregnant as mentioned above so do I check NO to having at least one child together since child is not born at time of application submission?
- Where it says One (1) document from three (3) of the following sets of options: ....wording is so weird, what does that mean? Just one document from that list or pick three of the things and one document for each?? And if three of the points are required what can I submit if we are not living together yet (so no ownership, leases or rental agreements available), since not living together we don't have joint utilities yet, no documents showing same address, what would be included as documentary evidence of financial support and how do I go about proving relationship is recognized by family/friends? what kind of letters? how does one show social media information showing a public relationship on an application?! UGH
- and letters? printed text messages? emails or social media convos? Maximum of 10 pages?! am I supposed to print these somehow? We live and hour apart and see each other all the time... there were never any letters or emails... I've had several phones in the three years we've been together none of which I still have except for my current one and not quite sure how I'm supposed to print text messages which I probably only have a couple weeks worth of? What the heck am I supposed to include here?! ARRRRGH
