Doctor of Judicial Science can apply under PhD stream?

Can anyone in this forum advise me whether Canadian immigration allows Doctor of Judicial Science (SJD) awarded by a Canadian university to apply under PhD Graduate stream? Thank you

Yes, you should get points for a PhD. SJDs (I know a couple) are treated as PhDs in the US, and Canada too, as far as I can tell.
