DO YOU THINK WE ARE QUALIFIED TO HIRE A CAREGIVER FROM PHILIPPINES

Here is my question. My husband's relatives are asking us if we could sponsor his niece from Philippines as a caregiver. My hubby is the only one who is working and we have 2 kids and I am a stay at home mom. I don't work because the cost of daycare is very expensive. I am reading the website on how to hire a foreign caregiver, and it was telling us that there is a calculation that the Immigration Canada do. He makes around $90,000 gross/year.

$90,000
- LICO (4 persons)
- Caregiver salary
- debts (mortgage and a car)

Do you think we can be approved? Because even with that gross salary of my husband, if you are going to take all the deductions like taxes, I don't' think we can have a surplus. Does immigration Canada look at all your finances? If ever, will it affect our application for my mom as a tourist visa here in Canada? I don't want them to think that we don't want to help. But my friend and my aunt told me that most likely we will be disapproved because immigration will tell us why do we need a caregiver if I am not working. It was based on my aunt's experience where she was not approved before because only the husband (employer) was working and wife was not.
After my mom comes here as a tourist, we are thinking that if she likes it here, we could apply for her under sponsorship. Will this affect the application if we have a caregiver's application? Please enlighten me.. Thank you.
