Hi guys, please help me ,do you think my duties are too general? i pasted my reference letter blew,

To Whom It May Concern,

This is to certify that Ms. XXX has been working as a Life Science Research Technician (NOC2221) in my laboratory since XXX, 2013 to present. She works full time on a renewable contract with XXX, and she is currently working 37.5 hrs per week. Her initial salary is $39,XXX/yr (from XXX, 2013 to XXX, 2014). effective XX, 2014, her salary is $41,XXX/yr. Benefits include 15 days of paid vacation per year.

Her project is the identification and isolation of XX enzymes for management of XXXXX.

Ms. XXX is responsible for the following duties:

• Set up and conduct biological and biochemical laboratory experiments to study the ability of known XXX enzymes (such as triglyceride lipase) to digest XXXX.

• Organized the lab on a daily basis, including monitoring laboratory inventory, maintenance of laboratory equipment, and placing purchase orders.

• Responsible for renewing all study related documentation including protocols and informed consents.

• Analyze data and prepare the reports for the supervisors and later publication in scientific journals.

This is good enough, the only thing I would suggest is to make it clear that you did 37.5 hours per week for the whole period of the CEC experience you are claiming. The term "currently 37.5 hours" does not make that clear.

yes I totally agree with hours situation, duties sound good though

The only thing you should do is to match your job duties with the NOC code you are applying under. I applied for LMO (Labour Market Opinion) twice and my attorney revised my job duties according to the related NOC code. But in this case your boss and your lawyer (if you have one) should co-operate. Then there will not be any question on the Visa officer's mind.

Also, about the wage you should check the National Job Bank website to see the average wage per hour for your Job. If it's too low than the average you might have problem. Please consult with a lawyer about this.
