Do you need to include University Transcripts if you HAVE a ECA report?

Do you really need to send the transcripts? I was thinking about just a copy of my degree certificate? Toronto kept my transcripts when they sent me my ECA certificates back

Also guys I do have my original transcripts from 2002. So can I send these to cic along with my university cert copy and ECA certificate?
