Do you need one of year experience with an employer to qualify for the Francophone Mobility Program?

I have a PGWP that expires nov and was considering applying for the Francophone Mobility Program
That said I checked qualifications:
  • meet the general eligibility requirements for a work permit
  • live and work in 1 of the 9 Canadian provinces or 3 territories outside Quebec
  • be able to prove that your speaking and listening skills in French are at an intermediate level
    • This would be equivalent to a level 5 or higher in the Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) scale.
  • have an offer of employment for a job that’s classified under any Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities (TEER) category of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system unless the offer of employment is for a job in a primary agriculture occupation under TEER 4 and 5

and wanted to be sure do you need to have been employed for a year by your employer to get this?

Who is your employer filing for LMIA exemption? You need to show that you have the education, work experience (year) and language tests to do the job. FYI seen people refused who tried to get a job at Tim Horton’s and were denied.

So not eligible without French tests, job offer and approved LMIA exemption after employer files and pays compliance fees. You should show you have a year of experience doing the job you have received a job offer for.

The whole point of LMIAs is employer not being able to hire a Canadian/PR with the work experience. So you need to show that you are experienced to do the job. Your past job experience matches the job offer. So if job offer is for a marketing specialist, your work experience is from that field.

And getting employer willing to pay compliance fees and participate. Many employers will not support it. Focus on regions that are not bilingual. For example, not Ottawa because many are bilingual.
