Hi all, I am so confused about the question "do you have a valid job offer". I read a lot of posts and most of them we should answer "no" when the job does not have LMIA. I answered "yes" when I create the profile and I do not think I got additional 50 point. I have been invited under CEC and on Government of Canada website it said "If you are invited under the Canadian Experience Class, you don’t need an LMIA to meet the program requirements." I have a open post-graduation work permit.
Can someone show their screenshot for the point they earned if they got 50 point, where will it show up?
If I have not claim that 50 point and I am under CEC stream, I have uploaded my original job offer + reference letter stating anything they required in the placeholder "job offer". Is it ok? Thanks.

It asked you something like - ''Have you been working for your employer for at least a year" and "Is the employer making the job offer specified on your work permit". If either question is answered with "No", they won't let you claim any points.

I don't know how long you've been working for your employer, but your work permit doesn't specify any employer (since it's an open work permit), hence they won't let you claim any points for it.

If you have no LMIA and no employer-specific work permit, there is no possible way to get the +50pts. You can still apply just fine under the Canadian Experience Class though - you don't need a valid job offer for it.

You do not need an LMIA to be eligible for CEC.

Because you are on a PGWP, you would need an LMIA to be eligible for the 50 points. Since you answered "yes" to the question, the system will ask you to upload the letter. But because you did not get any points for this, you can upload your letter, you can upload a Letter of explanation about the misunderstanding, or you can simply change the "yes" to a "no" and the requirement for the letter should disappear. Whichever option you chose doesn't really matter, since it does not affect your score or your eligibility.

Hi, I am in the exact same situation. What did you end up doing?
