hello all,
we are in the process of sending our application to CIC Buffalo. In Form IMM 0008 (application for permanent residence to Canada) there is space for applicants photo as well as for family members photo.

Do we have to paste the photos to IMM 0008 ourselves? Or we do not have to paste the photos ourselves? On the form IMM 0008, near the space for the photos the instructions say that the name and date of birth of each members must be written. If we paste these photos whats the use of writing the name and dt of birth at the back. This made me wonder if we have to paste the photos ourselves.

please advise. Thank you so much.

You are not required to paste them, you can include the photo's in an envelope and attach them to your application, use a paper clip do not staple.

Oh oh, no to staples

Photos must comply with specifications given in Appendix C, Photo Specifications. Make sure you give a copy of these specifications to the photographer.

On the back of one photo (and only one) in each set, write the name and date of birth of the person appearing in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken.

Enclose each set of photos in separate envelopes. Write the family member’s name, date of birth and relationship to you on the corresponding envelope and close the envelope with a paper clip.

Photos must not be stapled, scratched, bent or bear any ink marks.

Please take time to read your application and how to fill up your application form. Almost all of your questions are answered in there.
