Do we need to mention compulsory military service?

I'm from Mexico and here we have a mandatory draft for 18 y/o males and if you get selected you go every Saturday for a whole year to march/drill and pretty much nothing else. Do we have to list that under "Personal History" or only real military service in which you sign up voluntarily and can go to war?

I was never even taught to shoot a weapon in mine...

Yes mention it in order to be safe. Include in 'Personal History'.
