guys i got visa last friday..my question is that do i have to tell the same to my college(sheridan)..and how to get enrolment as the student centre is showing nothing about that..urgent..

Yes pass the information. If you require help of housing and pickup upon arrival they will arrange it. also its good to inform them the travel date. So if you face any issue POE. it will easy for you to get help.

first of all i am not going to face problem regarding housing as my relatives are there and they will be there to pick me..
now is it mandatory to provide information to college..
and what is POE..??

yea. you must inform them that you are joining this course and landing canada on particular date. Because the laws in canada are very strict. Colleges have to compulsory follow up with students in order to track the status and fees refund or else the goverment may not take them for granted and take necessary action in the form of penalty etc

Yes you have to inform your college about your visa ... They will tell you about the registration process, orientation etc ..

They might send you the course list, from which you can select courses for first semester and get registered.

POE --> Port of Entry (it means the landing station when you entering to canada)

my freind told me that you have to go to college(sheridan) after landing canada and can get yourself registerd there..although my consultand sended them a copy of my visa..

yes,go to their international office and register yourself in yhe course you have opted for otherwise u might lose your seat
