hey guys,
im a Chinese and my husband is a Canadian citizen.
in 2011 i applied for and got 2 TRVs, one was single entry and the other was multi-entry. and i visited Canada 3 tiems in 2011 and 2012.

in early Jan 2013, i submitted my spousal sponsorshuip immigration application. in the form IMM0008, i didnt write anything under the item of UCI because i thoguht i don;t have one.

but today i heard that anyone dealing with CIC would have a UCI. so i guess maybe a visitor visa (RRV) also have a UCI?
i checked the two visas on my passport and found on each of them there was a 8-digit number string started with "88".
is that my UCI?

if yes, what would happen if i forgot to write my UCI on IMM0008?

thanks a lot!

Nothing to worry...If they issued one for you when applying for the Visitor Visa they will pick up from the data base....If they did not issue at that time then you will get UCI Number when you get your sponsorship approval i.e Stage 1

You don't need to show the UCI any where because you don't have it yet. Relax..
