Do US citizen dependents need a visa to accompany parents on study permit?

Hi All,

Me and my husband have applied for SP and SOWP together. We have a daughter who is a US citizen and when I filled her details it said she did not need a visa to enter Canada. I believe she can get a visa on arrival. However when she enters with us how long would she get? Would we have to keep renewing her status or can we request a longer stay? Kindly share your experience. Thank you

You should as if you can match the expiry date to your study permit at the POE.
