Do they verify the Bank Statement from the Bank?

Do the Canadian Embassy verify directly the Bank Statement from the Bank. Like the UK embassy checks.

I appreciate the opinions.

yeah...they can check frm d head office. but not like UK embassy checks frm the Branch and u pay 600(something) fee 4 tht.
