Do points get deducted in CEC for age

Could you please let me know do points get deducted after 29years of age even in CEC stream or is it that the age is not taken into consideration at all ( of course you should be 18+ and 47- ) and instead CEC is completely based on experience in Canada, education and English test score?

Yes, age is taken into consideration and you get points deducted for age as you get older. CEC works through the Express Entry CRS points system.
