Do kitchen workers need a medical exam in order to get a work permit?

A restaurant in Alberta filed an LMIA to employ me as a chef.

Do kitchen workers (cooks/chefs) need to take a medical exam to get a work permit?
If I need it I prefer to do it in advance.

The list of professions which require a medical exam in the CIC website is not clear.
