Good day,

I am currently in the process of filling up forms with regard to my application - Sponsor Spouse and Family Member (living outside Canada) and I just have a couple of questions:

1. There are two basic parts, namely: Part 1. Sponsorship Forms Part 2. Immigration Forms. My question is: Do we submit both parts at the same time (together) under one application to the processing center in Mississauga?

If the answer to the above is no:

2. We are asked to show proof of our relationship i.e. emails, photos, plane tickets, etc.. If we were to file separately, then does that mean we have to produce the same proof twice and attach it to each other's application?

3. When will my Spouse file the application to the visa office where she is based? will this be after I (Sponsor) receive the approval to sponsor? Will that notice include details on where and when exactly to file Part 2. Immigration Forms?

Additional Question:

4. There is a Medical Condition statement (for a person I intend to adopt - daughter of my spouse) under the Checklist for Sponsors that says this has to be faxed to the Visa Office processing the application. My question is: since I am going to attach this to my application (Part 1 Sponsorship Forms), do I still need to fax this or will this be automatically be sent by the office in Mississauga?

Thank you in advance.

1. Yes, you submit the whole package part 1 and 2 to the processing centre in Mississauga. They will verify you as a sponsor and then send the application to the correct visa office.

2. One section for proof of relationship is enough for entire application

3. Mississauga processing centre will pass it on after approx. 86 days (according to their site)

4. This will be automatically sent to the correct Visa office by the approved Doctor you go to, they will know what to do.

Hope that helps, Good Luck!

yes, you need to send both parts to mississauga in same envelope or box (not separate) mississauga office will go through both parts and process sponsor's application, after sposnsorship approval, they will transfer file to applicant's visa office in his/her country.

If the answer to the above is no:
i dont think if i need to answer these questions because these questions dont exist really :)

2. We are asked to show proof of our relationship i.e. emails, photos, plane tickets, etc.. If we were to file separately, then does that mean we have to produce the same proof twice and attach it to each other's application?
you need to send all the proofs to the mississauga

3. When will my Spouse file the application to the visa office where she is based? will this be after I (Sponsor) receive the approval to sponsor? Will that notice include details on where and when exactly to file Part 2. Immigration Forms?

Additional Question:

im not sure about, sponsoring, spouse's daughter ::) she can be added to your spouse's application as a dependent but if its something else, you can send that form with application also and fax to visa office as well

Thank you in advance.
best of luck :)
