Do I really need to go through an Immigration lawyer?

I know its quite obvious to post this question on canadavisa.com forum... but neverthless.. are there any successful applicatnts here that DID NOT go through a lawyer?

What occupation are you selecting from those mentioned in the link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp?expand=jobs#jobs

If your occupation is not in that list, you cannot apply for FSWP (Federal skilled workers program)

you dont need any lawyer to represent you. you can do it yourself provided if u are qualify. go the cic.gc.ca all you need is there, or post any challenges on thios forum you will be assisted.
