Hi

I lodged my application for Federal Skilled Class in December 2007. But I am confused that my profession is IT for over 9 years and I do not have any bachelors or masters degree in IT field. Where as I did B.Com and then MBA (Marketing). The only thing which I have is 3 short course certificates (private) in my field.

The High Commission of Islamabad issued me File No. I have already contacted many consultants here in Karachi, most of them have advised me to withdraw my case. A couple of consultants are saying to go through it.

I am really confused as what will happen. I just want to know do they consider this type of case in which the applicant qualification is different from his profession.

I would be very thankful if sound people come up and guide me sincerely.

Thanks in advance

Abbas Ali

Mr Ali,

If you qualify 67 points or above, then you must try. As per the online assessment on CIC website if you qualify then I would say that qualification is not a criteria for your file to be approved or rejected. You can take an opinion from Mr. David Cohen, he is an expert immigration laywer.
