Do I need translations on letters?

Hello everyone,

Thanks for reading. Currently sponsoring my wife. I am providing letters from our family and friends from her side of the family who recognize our marriage and was wondering, should I write the letters on their behalf in English and have them sign, or should they write them in their own language and have them translated by a certified translator?
