Dear all:

I am new to this forum. I am chinese and has a PR in canada. I am applying my husband from china to canada.
I just start gathering all the information.

I have a question, about our email and letter all in chinese ( about 300 pages), do I need translate into english, please?

Other official Docs, we have them certified translated already. but these letter are support Docs, so I don't know.

Any ideas? Please? Thank you so much.

The answer is yes. CIC will only be able to understand English and French, so anything outside of those languages will need to be translated.

In addition, depending on what the 300 page letter is, you may need to get it signed by someone to ensure it's authenticity.

Agreed with sounion! I would recommend you get the documents translated by a registered translator. That way they can sign off on the translation and certify that it is correct and genuine. It will strengthen your case greatly and save you a lot of time and stress (though it will be pricy I fear!). You can't be too careful with these things though.
