Hello everyone,

I started working full-time on 2019.6.3 but applied for PGWP on 2019.6.24. I received ITA this year and submitted my application at 2020.6.15.

My question is, will the three weeks of work experience before applying for PGWP be considered illegal and my application gets refused? If I have to withdraw my application, can I create another file and submit a new application immediately after the request to cancel the old one? Or I have to wait until the old one is confirmed canceled?

Thank you!

Someone had a similar case as you in the forum. My advice is to contact an immigration lawyer about this. Working without a work permit in Canada is indeed illegal. I'm surprised the company allowed you to work in the first place.
