Do I need to show proof of finances when entering Canada?

The thing is I need to withdraw some funds from my bank account in order to pay for my living expenses and I was wondering if it's going to cause some problems with inspector...And should my proof of finances cover my whole tuition+living expenses even after getting visa?

Normally officers at POE are not that strict (purely based on my experience). If you have some amount in hand and you explain your finance, it should be fine.

But others may have different experiences. So, let's wait for more comments.
