Do I need to reissue my OCI or just update my new passport details?

Hi everyone,

I recently changed my name and got a new passport. Previously, my name was listed as:

• First Name: XXX
• Last Name: John Smith

Now, with the new passport, it is:

• First Name: John
• Last Name: Smith

Luckily, my OCI card already has the correct order of my name:

• First Name: John
• Last Name: Smith

Do I need to apply for a reissue of my OCI card, or can I just upload my new passport copy, photo, and signature using the OCI miscellaneous services?

OCI once issued is for lifetime, so just upload/update with new passport details.
