Do I need to reactivate my sin number?

Hey guys,
My original work permit expired in July. I then left Canada for a few weeks and have since returned now and activated a new permit via an lmia. My question is do I need to re activate the sin before I can return to work or what?

If your SIN hasnt expired you can carry on working, once it does expire, just go to your local service canada building with your work permit and they can reissue your SIN.
