I need to extend my study permit for the coming fall/winter (2020-2021) semesters because I had to skip a year due to medical conditions. I left Canada beginning of May because I was scared I won't get to come back home for the summer due to covid - and now the process for extending my current student permit seems more difficult since I'm outside of Canada. Since now all classes will be conducted online (as well as exams) it seems that there is no need to physically be in Canada. I'm wondering if still need to extend my sp or can I continue studying from my home country without one? Thank you!
